2cWater
1cWhite rice, basmati if available
1/2tsCinnamon
4ozAlmonds; slivered
1/2cGolden raisins

Add oil to water, bring to boil. Add rice, cinamon, almonds, raisins. Bring back to a boil stirring. Cover pan, reduce heat to simmer. Simmer 20 minutes. Turn off heat, let stand, covered, 10 minutes before serving.
